Description

Turn off of Skanee Road onto Arvon Road and drive 3.4 miles. Turn left and park near the wooden logging bridge. You will find two waterfalls within a few hundred feet of of each other. The farthest falls is Black Slate Falls which starts as a rapids then drops down over rock formations into the three distinct sections before it continues downstream a few hundred feet to Quartzite Falls. The falls can be accessed by a short easy trail through the forest.DIFFICULTY LEVEL: 1-2
